Darkness was all around,
No light to be seen;
No dreams to be dreamt;
No hope to live for.
Then I saw a shadow,
But how could that be?
For without light,
No shadow can be seen!
Gradually, the light became brighter,
The shadow cast away;
Darkness was over shadowed,
As the Light of
My Life found way.
